Yves Rocher Babassu, Jojoba and Macadamia Hair Restoration Oil

Oil of the French brand Yves Rocher, designed to care for dry, porous and damaged hair. Hair restoration effortlessly and effortlessly.

What the manufacturer promises. It was based on jojoba oil, for its regenerating and penetrating properties. The oil is absorbed into the hair scales, glues and fills them, allows you to keep the coloring pigment inside the hair longer than usual. Additionally, the oil is enriched with precious Babassu and Macadamia oils to brighten hair color and restore its natural shine without weighing it down.

Application tip: To experience the revitalizing effect of the three oils, apply to hair 10 minutes before shampooing. Cover your head with a hot, damp towel so that the hair scales open and the oil can penetrate inside.

Oil of the French brand Yves RocherIts formula is dermatologically tested and contains over 99% natural ingredients.

The oil is instantly absorbed and nourishes the hair with active herbal ingredients.

Oil for damaged hair

Oil for damaged hair

The oil is in a convenient plastic bottle, for convenience there is a cap with a dispenser, which is quite convenient, it will not pour out more than necessary. The volume is quite large 150 ml., After opening, the oil can be stored for one year, and so the shelf life is three years from the date of production.

The consistency of the oil is liquid, it is easily applied to the hair and is quickly absorbed, the aroma of the oil is sweet (it reminds me of a smell from childhood), even a little sugary.

Now about the result. Since the manufacturer recommends (apply for 10 minutes before shampooing) I do not like it at all, there is no result. I started to apply it on the length of the hair and leave the oil for 1-2 hours and tried it several times overnight, the result is the same from both use cases, but it did not suit me. Hair after oil is a little softer and more nourished, there is a good shine, and that's basically all. The result was better with regular olive oil. That is, I did not notice the declared hair restoration after 1.5 months of use.

Now I use oil like this: I started a course of masks based on paprika, I apply a pepper mask to the scalp, and I apply oil to the length of the hair, I warm everything, hold it for about an hour and my head. Washing your hair after oil is more difficult, but no worse than with any other natural oil. In principle, while I am satisfied with the result, although there is no proper hair restoration. I want to take a break for a month and then return to this oil again, perhaps the result will be more visible on my hair.

Yves Rocher hair oil

Oil composition for dry, porous and damaged hair

The oil is declared as natural, without dyes and parabens, but I was more interested in whether there are any silicones here, because the oil is used as a healing oil, and silicone does not heal hair, but only improves the appearance of the hair, at a cosmetic level. I have nothing against silicones, on the contrary, I constantly use them for the length of my hair when I apply balms, masks and leave-in products to my hair. In shampoos, I do not like silicones, as they remove hair volume and create a film on the scalp and this does not make the skin breathe (something I deviated from the topic). I did not find silicones in the composition of the oil, but still I propose to deal with the composition in more detail.

The composition of Yves Rocher hair oilIn the first place in the line-up is sunflower oil - Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) seed oil, this means that it serves as the basis for the entire mixture, that is, the sunflower oil is the most, given its low cost, the oil could have cost less. Sunflower oil, in principle, is not bad, it makes hair soft and shiny, reduces hair oiliness, eliminates dandruff and itching of the scalp. Suitable for oily, normal fine and weak hair.

In second place is softener - Ethylhexyl cocoate, what is its role in this whole mixture of oils, I still did not understand why to soften the oils.

Further goes rapeseed oil - Brassica Campestris (Rapeseed) seed oil, also one of the cheapest oils, it also contains quite a lot. Although it works well for dry and brittle hair, the oil penetrates the hair structure and regenerates it.

Next comes everyone's favorite Castor oil - Ricinus Communis (Castor) seed oil, probably everyone knows about its benefits. The oil is suitable for the care of very dry, porous hair, prevents hair splitting, deeply moisturizes the hair, and also strengthens the hair, making it whiter, thicker and more dense.

And finally, in fifth place, the long-awaited jojoba oil - Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) seed oil, the composition of jojoba oil is even more wax than oil. This is a unique oil that works very well on the hair structure. Jojoba oil is considered a natural moisturizing conditioner for hair, it nourishes and moisturizes hair, creates a protective layer on the hair from harmful environments and has many more benefits and benefits.

Further on the composition goes borage oil - Borago Officinalis seed oil, I learned about this oil for the first time, so I had to study its properties. The most important benefit of oil is that it retains moisture in the hair, which is vital for dry, porous and damaged hair, and very important for normal and healthy hair. It has other beneficial properties for hair (it restores the skin and hair, is used in the treatment of seborrhea and other types of dandruff, makes it easier to comb the hair, making it soft and nourished, and prevents hair from tangling).

And then comes the second oil that the manufacturer advertises - babassu oil - Orbignya Oleifera seed oil. It is similar in properties to coconut oil, moisturizes well, prevents dry and brittle hair, retains moisture in the hair.

And the last oil that is included is macadamia oil - Macadamia Ternfolia seed oil, this is one of the best oils in hair care, it is instantly absorbed by the hair, gives it volume, shine, smoothness, and makes combing easier. The oil is suitable for dry, porous, damaged hair (after dyeing, chemistry), thin and weakened.

At the final stage, the line-up is flavoring and tocopherol, that is, vitamin E. It has an excellent effect on damaged hair, the properties of vitamin E allow it to be used in almost all hair products. Vitamin E is used in hair loss and to accelerate hair growth.

In last place goes emulsifier - Oleth-10, it allows you to create a homogeneous structure of immiscible phases, improving the appearance of the cosmetics itself.

And so, the composition of the oil can be said to be natural, consists of six healthy oils for hair, but to buy it or not, the choice is yours. In principle, it is not bad, but natural jojoba oil (in its pure form), I like it more, that is, the effect of it is many times better. On a five-point scale, four can be put.
