Yves Rocher Curly Hair Shampoo Review

Once upon a time I did not like my curly hair and tried to turn it into perfectly straight, like Jennifer Aniston's, but the constant straightening of my hair with an iron only spoiled my hair even more. One fine day, I cut off almost half the length and realized that I need to take care of what was left, I need to learn to emphasize my curls, and not straighten them. This is how I began to learn to love my curly hair and seek the best care for it. Curly hair is always porous and more fragile than straight hair, so when choosing products for curly hair, pay attention to the nourishing, regenerating and moisturizing series, and of course professional brands work best on curly hair. Sometimes I also buy a special treatment for curly hair, this time it's Yves Rocher Baobab Leaf Extract Shampoo for bouncy curls.

Yves Rocher Bouncy Shampoo

Shampoo for curly hairFrom the manufacturer. Create perfect curls with a treatment based on Baobab leaf extract, rich in fixing polysaccharides. The shampoo provides intensive nutrition, moisture resistance, soft and elastic curls. The silicone-free shampoo treats hair without weighing it down. Its formula is dermatologically tested and contains over 95% natural ingredients.

Yves Rocher cosmetics experts have chosen baobab oil extract for its fixing properties, so that curls keep their shape for a long time, creating an impression of natural beauty.

Yves Rocher shampooYves Rocher cares about the environment and fights pollution of the planet, so all shampoo formulas are 100% biodegradable and safe.

Shampoo for frizzy, unmanageable hairThe washing formula of the shampoos consists of a vegetable base, does not contain silicone, parabens and dyes.

Yves Rocher shampoo for bouncy curlsMode of application: Apply a little shampoo to the palms of your hands and work over your hair and scalp. Gently massage into a dense lather, rinse with lukewarm water.

The composition of the Yves Rocher shampooDespite the fact that the manufacturer indicates that the composition of the shampoo is 95% natural, I still doubt its naturalness, I will not disassemble the composition, I am posting a photo to you. In addition to the baobab extract (in fifth place), I did not notice anything natural there, but since this is an extract, there is very little of it in the composition.

Shampoo for unmanageable hair Yves RocherAbout shampoo. The shampoo is housed in a recyclable plastic jar, has a protective cap and is quite easy to use. The shampoo comes in a volume of 300 ml, it is thick in consistency, the photo shows that it does not spread, pearlescent color and herbal smell.

My hair: curly thin, dry in length and prone to fat content at the roots. From the shampoo, I want it to gently cleanse the hair and scalp, not dry the length and not weigh it down, and also so that the hair does not grease faster than usual.

I think that the first requirement for a shampoo, which is designed specifically to create elastic curls, should be the pacification of fluffy, unruly hair and the creation of elastic curls, albeit inelastic, but still curls.

Shampoo results. The shampoo lathers well, even from the first time, it is easily washed off from the hair, after two weeks of use it did not cause itching and dandruff. There is shine on the hair, but there is still merit here and other means. On this, perhaps, the advantages of shampoo ended.

Now about the cons: this shampoo does not emphasize the curls, but even on the contrary evens them out. Hair after shampoo does not become manageable and continues to frizz, although the manufacturer claims the opposite. Hair after drying is fluffy and sticking out in different directions, dry and hard to the touch.

Can't recommend this shampoo as a special care for curly hair (((
