Review of Revlon Professional thermal protective regenerating shampoo

Recently, I have reconsidered my opinion about Revlon Professional hair products, once I had a moisturizing mask from this company and I did not like it at all. Although it may not be her fault, because at that time I was not yet fond of hair care and did not know that if the hair is severely damaged, then moisturizing lines for them are not at all suitable, and my hair at that time was just very damaged and in need of repair and good nutrition, not hydration. Recently, I took the ampoules for hair loss from this company and was pleased with them, so the turn of the shampoo and masks with thermal protective properties went on.

From the manufacturer. Heat protective and regenerating care for damaged hair. Hair straightening, blow-drying are a hindrance to hair health and shine! Thermal protection, thanks to its protective polymer, helps to protect and restore the hair structure after using a hot hair dryer and ceramic iron. The combination of flaxseed oil and antioxidants also helps restore, protect and hydrate hair. Increases the softness and natural shine of the hair structure.

A special protective polymer is included in the composition of the product, which helps to protect and restore the hair structure after using a variety of hot hairdressing devices. I will say right away that I do not really believe in the thermal protective properties of shampoos, and even in thermal protective masks, if only because we wash them off, so I definitely use a thermal protective agent before each drying with a hairdryer, most often it is a cream, because there is not so much alcohol in it as in a spray.

Thermal protective shampooCountry of origin - Spain, lately I really like hair products from Spanish brands (Revlon Professional, Orofluido, Kerastase and others).

Revlon Professional ShampooI tried to take a picture of the composition of the shampoo so as not to reprint it.

Thermal protective shampoo RevlonThe appearance of the shampoo is quite simple, as, in principle, all professional brands have, it does not have flashy slogans and bright colors, everything is modest and simple. The bottle is made of high-quality plastic and, what is important, there is a very convenient dispenser, I have never seen such a dispenser on shampoos, it is easy to open, conveniently poured and stored, even during transportation, nothing flows out.

Review of Revlon Professional thermal protective regenerating shampooThe shampoo comes in a volume of 350 and 1000 ml, I have a smaller volume, I have been using it for more than two months (3 times a week, but once every two weeks I replace it with a deep cleansing shampoo) and will last for a few more weeks. The consistency of the shampoo is quite thick and viscous, and the smell is chemical, but I like it, in combination with a mask from the same line, the smell remains on the hair even the next day.

Revlon ProfessionalMode of application: Apply shampoo to hair and scalp with gentle massaging movements, leave on for 1-2 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly.

Shampoo is suitable for weakened, colored hair, which is mine.

Shampoo advantages:

  1. The shampoo lathers well and is easily washed off the hair.
  2. It washes the hair well enough, but not until it squeaks, and it is not surprising, because it is regenerating.
  3. When I wash off the shampoo from the hair, the hair feels soft and glides under the hands.
  4. The shampoo does not weigh down the hair and retains its volume.
  5. Hair shine is present, but here is also the merit of the mask and the indelible oil.
  6. I think this shampoo is perfect for the summer because of its protective properties)
  7. Shampoo in combination with a mask from the same line gives a solid result of 5!

Of the shortcomings, I can single out the fact that after this shampoo my hair gets oily a little faster, but over time I somehow adapted.
