Hair mask for strengthening and shine

Previously, I did not betray home masks, but there is so much information on the Internet on this topic that sooner or later any Hairomaniac starts trying home masks.

And logically speaking, on the one hand, what could be wrong with honey, egg, cinnamon or natural oil in homemade hair masks? On the other hand, hair cosmetics manufacturers spend millions of dollars researching what's best for our hair and scalp.

The age-old dilemma: which is better to choose? For me, there are ideal combinations: home hair masks with professional ones.

For some reason, when I decided to write this article, I remembered about my aunt who has been using homemade masks in hair care all her life. And as far back as I can remember, she always had beautiful hair, even now, when she is almost 60 years old, she has a beautiful, thick head of hair (every week before the bath, she makes a homemade mask). I understand that genetics plays the main role here, but with age, even genetics are unable to preserve their former youth and beauty.

The recipe for the same hair mask

Homemade hair masks

  • 1 tablespoon of brandy;
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (cold pressed)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 egg yolk.

Honey hair mask

Hair mask with cognacMix all the ingredients in a glass container (you can warm it up). Apply to scalp and hair before washing hair. Try to keep your hair free of foam, varnish and other styling products before applying the mask. The mask needs to be insulated: wrap it with plastic wrap and insulate it with a woolen hat (you can take a steam bath or warm it up with a hair dryer for about 10 minutes), keep it somewhere from 40 minutes to 1 hour, then wash your head with two washings of shampoo and apply a light balm or conditioner, purchased you no longer need to apply the mask so as not to overload the hair.

Thanks to cognac, all the beneficial properties of honey (it also facilitates the penetration of nutrients into the scalp), yolk and olive oil penetrate to the hair follicles and nourish them. Honey normalizes the work of the sebaceous glands, nourishes the hair follicles with nutrients and vitamins, and also gives shine and silkiness to the curls. The yolk, which contains many vitamins and minerals, is simply irreplaceable for hair, for more than a hundred years it has been used in hair care. It perfectly breaks down fats, thereby regulating the greasiness of the scalp, gives the hair shine, elasticity, and strengthens the hair follicles. Olive oil has been indispensable in hair care for thousands of years. This light oil is well absorbed by the hair, nourishes, restores and strengthens our curls, it can also be used mono for hair, just heated in a water bath and applied to the length of the hair overnight.

With regular use of the mask:

- hair is strengthened from the inside, which prevents hair loss;

- nourishes and strengthens hair follicles;

- well restores damaged hair;

- shine and silkiness will come to the hair.
