Clay hair masks

Clay hair masks are a whole spa treatment for hair at home, no worse than salon treatments. Clay hair masks are simple and easy to make at home. Clay hair masks are considered almost the most gentle (natural remedy), but at the same time one of the most effective ones that help cleanse the hair and scalp, stimulate microcirculation, give the hair volume that lasts for several days, and also helps with a number of hair diseases (hair loss, oily seborrhea, dandruff). Clay masks originate from ancient times, from the recipes of the beauties Cleopatra and Nefertiti, who regularly used clay to preserve the youth and beauty of the skin and hair.

Dermatologists, cosmetologists say that the choice of one or another type of clay depends on the patient's problem, and also largely on the condition of his skin. Clay mixed with water hardens quickly, and as soon as it loses moisture, its moisturizing effect on the skin is leveled, it narrows the pores and dries the skin. Such a mask may be unsuitable for dry and especially sensitive skin. Therefore, for owners of normal, dry or sensitive skin, it is better to use clay masks on an emulsion basis - ready-made cosmetic products. They act more gently on the skin, retain moisture better and have a more pronounced moisturizing effect.

Clay can be different, depending on the color, it differs in its properties and composition: blue, black, pink, red, green, white, gray, yellow.
