Clay mask for oily hair

Some of the best masks for oily hair are clay masks... Clay not only cleanses the scalp from fat, but also cares for the hair, strengthens it and prevents hair loss. And even after the clay masks, an unrealistic volume, even on the second day.

  • 2 tablespoons of green or blue clay;
  • 1 tablespoon of water (boiled), or mineral water, or a decoction of herbs;
  • 1 yolk;
  • 3-5 drops of lavender essential oil (rosemary, tea tree, orange, grapefruit, lemon).

The mask is done before washing your hair. Dilute the clay with water until the consistency of sour cream, add well-beaten yolk, and at the end, essential oil. Apply the mask to the scalp and warm it, it is recommended to keep it for 20 to 30 minutes, no more, as you will see that the clay begins to dry out, the mask can be washed off. Then wash your hair as usual, but using a mask or balm for hair length, otherwise the hair will be coarse. The mask can be done once a week.

Mustard mask

Mustard absorbs sebum well and dries out the scalp, while promoting rapid hair growth and helps with hair loss.

  • 2 tablespoons of dry mustard;
  • 2 tablespoons of water;
  • 2 tablespoons of burdock oil;
  • 3-5 drops of vitamins A and E in oil;
  • 1 yolk.

We make a mask before washing your hair. Dilute the mustard with warm water, add well-beaten yolk and butter. The mixture is applied to the scalp, it is desirable to warm it, you can also warm it up with a hairdryer. We keep the mask from 30 minutes to 1 hour and rinse thoroughly with shampoo. It is enough to do the mask once a week.

Honey mask for oily hair

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon of alcohol or brandy;
  • 1 yolk;
  • 4-5 drops of peppermint or lemon essential oil.

In a glass bowl, first add honey, and to it the essential oil, then the rest of the ingredients. Apply the mask to the scalp, warm it and leave it for 40-60 minutes. After washing my head as usual. The mask can be done twice a week.

Kefir mask to reduce oily hair

The simplest version of the mask is to take half a glass of kefir and apply it on the scalp, and distribute the rest along the length of the hair, hold it for 20-30 minutes and wash your hair as usual. You can apply kefir before each shampooing. But there is another effective recipe:

  • 1/3 cup of kefir;
  • 1 yolk;
  • juice of half a lemon.

Mix all the ingredients and apply to the scalp before washing your hair. We insulate the mask and leave for 30-40 minutes, after the expiration of time, wash my head as usual (shampoo, conditioner or mask). The mask can be used 1-2 times a week.

Colorless henna mask

Henna perfect for all hair types, including oily hair. Henna-based masks improve the structure of the hair, make it strong, voluminous and give it a natural shine.

  • 2 tablespoons of colorless henna;
  • 1-1.5 tablespoons of boiled water or a decoction of herbs;
  • 1 spoon of honey;
  • 2-3 drops of essential oil.

Boil henna with boiling water and let it brew for 15 minutes, then add the rest of the ingredients. Apply the mask for 30-40 minutes, you can warm it up, and then wash your hair using shampoo.

If you do not always have time for masks, then you can use rinsing hair with a decoction of nettle or oak bark (be careful, nettles and oak bark stain your hair a little). How to do it: I brew in the evening, about a third of a pack per liter or a half of water. And in the morning, when I have already done all the procedures, I blot my hair with a towel, and then for five minutes I dip my hair in a bowl of broth so that the scalp is also wet. This is a proven remedy that helps keep hair fresh for longer. If the hair is light, you can replace it chamomile or hop cones.

You can also rinse your hair at the end. lemon water: Add two tablespoons of lemon juice to a liter of water.

And if you are friends with essential oils, then you can add a few drops of essential oil to a serving of shampoo when you wash your hair. The unique properties of essential oils have been used in cosmetology for several millennia, and not only.
