Top 5 best hair masks in winter

Our hair needs care all year round, although in summer we need more protection and moisture, and in winter - nourishment and restoration. In winter, we usually have more time for homemade masks, so you can experiment.

In winter, hair suffers from heat, dry indoor air, and wind and cold outside. Prolonged wearing of a headgear prevents the scalp from breathing and provokes an increased production of sebum. Hair becomes thinner and more brittle, shine and elasticity disappear. We offer you 5 of the best hair masks for winter, which will not only help keep your hair strong and healthy, but also improve its overall condition.

Hair masks in winter

Vitamin mask for scalp and hair length

  • 1 ampoule of niacin, Vitamin B3;
  • 1 ampoule of vitamin B1;
  • 1 ampoule of vitamin B6;
  • 1 ampoule of vitamin B12;
  • 1 ampoule of aloe extract;
  • 3-5 drops of vitamin A and E in oil;
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of hair balm.

First, wash my head with shampoo, but without silicones, since silicones prevent the penetration of the active substances of the mask. All shampoos for hair loss, as a rule, come without silicones; for the period of the course of masks, you can buy shampoo from such a series. After washing your hair with shampoo, wrap it in a towel so that excess moisture is absorbed, so we walk for about five minutes while we mix the components of the mask. Add all the vitamins to a portion of the balm, stir well and use a paint brush to apply the mask, first apply it to the scalp along the parting, and then distribute it through the hair. We insulate the mask with plastic wrap and put on a warm hat or you can wrap it with a towel. We hold the mask for one hour and rinse thoroughly with water, for two or three minutes under running warm water, the main thing here is to wash the balm from the hair. It is enough to do it once a week, in a course of ten masks.

Repairing mask for hair length

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon argan oil
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 8 drops of ylang-ylang or orange, lavender, chamomile essential oil;
  • 5 drops of vitamins A and E in oil (sold at the pharmacy).

We mix all the ingredients, heat in a water bath in a glass dish. In a warm form, apply to the hair, stepping back from the hair roots. We insulate the mask and leave it for at least 2 hours, or better overnight. The mask is washed off with shampoo (2-3 times). It is enough to do this mask once a week.

Purifying and firming hair mask

  • 1 tablespoon of clay (blue, white, pink);
  • 1 tablespoon of mineral water, or herbal decoction;
  • 1/2 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 3-5 drops of bey or peppermint essential oil.

The mask is done before washing the hair and is applied only to the scalp. First, we dilute the clay with a decoction of herbs and then add mustard to it (you can also not add mustard if the scalp is sensitive), then add honey and drip essential oil onto it, mix everything thoroughly. We apply the mask to the scalp along the partings, if the ends of the hair are dry, you can apply the base oil to the ends, then we warm it and keep it on the hair for 30 to 40-60 minutes. Then I wash my head as usual, but apply conditioner or a mask to the length, because when you wash off the clay from your hair, it will dry out the length a little. It is enough to make such a poppy once a week, or once every two weeks.

Nourishing oil-based hair mask

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa butter
  • 1 teaspoon avocado oil

Warm up all oils in a water bath and apply to the hair, stepping back from the roots. The mask should be insulated and left on the hair as long as possible, and then thoroughly rinsed with shampoo.

Hair mask for shine and strength

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon of brandy;
  • 1 yolk.

Mix all the ingredients, apply to the scalp, and distribute the remains along the length of the hair, insulate the mask (you can steam in the bath), keep it for 40 to 60 minutes, or longer, then wash your hair as usual.
