Cocoa butter is cold-pressed from the seeds of the fruit of the chocolate tree, which grows in humid tropical climates (South America, South Asia and Africa). Cocoa butter has a rich creamy color, sometimes it can go brown. The consistency of the oil is quite hard and brittle, it melts at temperatures above 32 degrees. The smell of the oil is such that you want to ... eat it, that is, with a pronounced aroma of the world famous dessert - chocolate.

It includes various amino acids, lauric, stearic and palmitic acids, polysaccharides, vitamins A and E, salts of phosphorus, calcium, copper, magnesium, potassium, zinc and iron. All of these beneficial ingredients have a beneficial effect on hair.

Healing properties: effective in treating burns, skin rashes, coughs, dry lips, as well as colds. It is included in all the pharmacopoeias of the world.

Hair mask with cocoa butter

The oil is widely used for hair.

Cocoa butter is one of the healthiest oils for dry hair and scalp, and it traps moisture in the hair. The oil is suitable for curly, thin, weakened and damaged hair.

Cocoa butter for hair

Cocoa butter has a moisturizing, healing, toning, emollient, nourishing effect on the skin. Suitable for all skin types, especially for dry skin care, ideal for delicate baby skin. The active ingredients make the skin softer, more elastic, smooth, and restore its hydrolipid balance.

Hair Length Mask

  • 1 teaspoon cocoa butter
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon avocado oil

We heat the solid oils (butters) in a water bath in a glass dish, add jojoba oil and apply the warm mixture to the hair (to the length that remains if we put the hair in a ponytail), paying special attention to the ends. We insulate and hold for about an hour, more can be done if you have time. Rinse off with two washes of shampoo and a light moisturizing balm can be applied to smooth the scales.

Vitamin mask for dry and brittle hair

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 yolk;
  • 3-5 drops of vitamins A and E in oil (vitamin A - makes hair elastic, elastic, and also promotes growth. Vitamin E - restores hair, fights hair loss and accelerates growth);
  • 2 ampoules of vitamin B12 (affects the regeneration of scalp cells and supplies oxygen);
  • 1 ampoule of aloe juice (moisturizes and restores curls).

We heat the olive and cocoa oils in a water bath (in a glass container), the oils should be warm, but not hot. Then add the yolk, vitamins and aloe juice. Apply to the roots, massage in and distribute the remainder over the length of the hair. We insulate with plastic wrap and a hat or towel (you can still warm it up with a hairdryer), the head should be warm. We wash off with 2-3 washes of shampoo and you can apply a light balm to smooth the scales (purchased masks should no longer be used so as not to weigh down the hair, because they will look like they have not been washed). This mask works well for weakened hair after winter.

Firming mask

  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa butter;
  • 2 tablespoons of rosemary (dry, sold at the pharmacy);
  • 100 ml drive.

First, prepare the rosemary infusion: pour in 100 ml of rosemary. boiling water, cover and leave for half an hour. Then we filter the infusion. Melt the cocoa butter in a water bath and add to the warm rosemary infusion. Apply to the roots, massage in and distribute the remainder over the length of the hair.We insulate with plastic wrap and a hat or towel (you can still warm it up with a hairdryer), the head should be warm. After an hour, wash off the mask with shampoo.

Any hair masks are best done in courses!

Hair masks with the addition of cocoa butter give the hair moisture and natural shine, in addition, protect the hair from ultraviolet radiation and wind (do not forget to take with you to the sea!)
