Safe hair dye during pregnancy

The fact that hair is difficult to dye during pregnancy is not so bad. It is much worse that the ingredients in chemical dyes pose a hidden threat to the health of mothers and children. Is there a safe hair dye during pregnancy? Are there alternatives that can satisfy a woman's natural desire to always be attractive?

What hair dye is considered a priority during pregnancy? Of course, these are products in the production of which natural components of plant origin are used. However, the presence of natural dyes in cosmetics does not exclude the presence of ingredients that are unsafe for a pregnant woman. Therefore, before using a new hair dye, you need to carefully study its composition. And, of course, try not to use paints with a high chemical content.

Organic dyes

Ideally, hair dye for pregnant women should be completely natural. How do you know about this? On the packaging of cosmetic products of foreign companies, this is indicated by the inscription "all natural" or "chemical free" (does not contain chemicals).

In organic dyes, plant components make up up to 90% of the total composition. This fact is the key to increased security. Such paints during pregnancy can be used without fear.

Yoghurt-based or silk-based dyes are considered harmless for pregnant women. Aggressive chemical compounds that provide coloring efficiency and color fastness have been replaced by substances with a more gentle effect. For example, ammonia and PPD in organic hair dyes replace monoethylamine.

And yet, such dyes cannot be called completely natural, safe. So, women need to be careful when using them to tint the roots or change the image during the period of bearing a child.

Infusions of a variety of herbal teas are considered safe hair dye during pregnancy. It is a good alternative to ready-made chemical based dyes. Moreover, it is possible to prepare a coloring composition without special skills.

The bottom line is that you need to take 2-3 tablespoons (depending on the length of the hair and the desired color intensity) of a suitable herbal, pour 1/2 liter of boiling water and leave the solution for 3 hours. Rinse the freshly washed strands with coloring infusion several times, bending over the basin.

Natural hair dyes

Basic natural dyes:

Blondes during pregnancy will have to endure, since natural dyes that can bleach hair to the desired tone do not exist in nature. A weak substitute for a chemical brightening agent is only lemon juice, which is used to highlight individual strands.

For light blond hair, a primrose is suitable (it will give the hair a platinum shade), chamomile (it makes any color more saturated, radiant), rhubarb root (creates the effect of a golden hue).

Brown-haired women can use saffron (golden hue), calendula (shades of red), hibiscus flower (gives a bright fiery color).

For brunettes, to enhance the natural hair color and mask gray hair, a collection of chestnut leaves, rosemary and sage is suitable.

To get a radical black or red color, henna and basma are used. Pregnant women can safely use these natural dyes to dye their hair. But caution still does not hurt, since they may contain heavy metals that cause allergies.

The safest option is not to dye your hair for a while. Is it worth risking your health for a new hair color? A pregnant woman is beautiful in any way!
